 Introduction

Leaving home (Shelbyville, Illinois) for Yale in September 1958. With his parents, Beatrice and Louis Chabner, M.D.

Bruce and Davi graduate from Harvard graduate schools (Medicine and Education, May 1965). Brandon graduates too, as I'm 5 months pregnant at the time.

Bruce and Davi-Ellen Rosenzweig marry in Scarsdale, New York, February 23, 1964.

Working in the lab at Yale with mentor, Joe Bertino, and Barbara Morrison, 1970 (look at those sideburns!).

With Brandon and Elizabeth (Noonie) on Nantucket's Miacomet Golf Course, August 1989. Bruce's favorite vacation place and way to relax (Brandon got the eagle!).

A family affair with Davi, Brandon and Elizabeth, August 1991. We celebrated my parents' 50th wedding anniversary.

Becoming an Admiral in the Public Health Service: Celebrating with NCI colleagues Carmen Allegra, Eddie Reed, Grace Yeh and Greg Curt, 1992.

A visit back home to the Shelbyville Court House, October 1993. The Mayor of Shelbyville proclaims April 7, 1995 "Bruce A. Chabner Day" in honor of their native son and his contributions to cancer research.

A reunion of good friends and former NCI colleagues Bob Young, Eli Glatstein, George Canellos and Vince DeVita, February 1994.

At a meeting in Switzerland with Medicine Branch colleagues Susan Bates, Wyndham Wilson and Tito Fojo, September 1994.

Division of Cancer Treatment Board says goodbye, March 1995

Bruce and Bob Pinedo (Chabner Fellow, 1975) in Amsterdam, June 1995

With Eli and Lily, outside our new home in Boston, September 1995.

Bruce's and Bob Pinedo's cherry tree outside 8703 Bunnell Drive, Potomac, Maryland. Bob gave the tree to us when he returned to Holland in 1976. He claimed the cherry tree was fruitful year 'round... just like Bruce.
